Daniel Valder
Lead Talent and Strategy Specialist
Daniel Valder is a lead talent and strategy specialist at Public Impact®. Valder is primarily focused on helping recruit and hire Public Impact® staff members, building community and connection across the team, and facilitating teamwide learning experiences to increase the quality of collaboration and support. In his strategy role, he coordinates firmwide strategic discussion and reporting. Before joining Public Impact®, Valder was a Teach For America corps member and Leroy ‘Pop’ Miller Fellow in Charlotte, North Carolina. Valder taught biology for three years and served as the science department head at Julius L. Chambers High School, where he was an active member of the effort to rename the school, which had been named after Zebulon B. Vance. Valder holds a B.A. in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
