Raven Shelton

Opportunity Culture® Operations Lead

Raven Shelton is the Opportunity Culture® operations lead at Public Impact®, providing administrative and technical support to the team responsible for Opportunity Culture® implementation in schools and districts nationwide. Before coming to the team, Shelton taught piano to students ranging in age from 5 to 70. While attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she worked as a research assistant in the sociology department, studying trends in the civil rights movement. Shelton served as a mentor and worked on a team to launch Project Jumpstart, a college readiness summer camp for middle and high schoolers, at Refugee Community Partnership in Carrboro, North Carolina. Shelton holds a B.A. in sociology and a minor in music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
