Laura Hagerty

Laura Hagerty is a consultant at Public Impact®, focused primarily on assisting schools and districts with Opportunity Culture® design and implementation to extend the reach of excellent teachers and their teams. Before joining Public Impact, she provided contract research work for the Birmingham-based Public Affairs Research Council, helping craft data-driven recommendations for state and school-level initiatives. Hagerty began her career in Philadelphia, teaching social studies for five years at Kensington High School, serving as a lead teacher in her final year. She holds an M.Ed. in education policy and leadership from American University and a B.Ed. in secondary education from Cedarville University.
