Emma Garcia

Emma Garcia is a consultant at Public Impact®, focused primarily on assisting schools and districts with Opportunity Culture® design and implementation to extend the reach of excellent teachers and their teams. Garcia first taught eighth-grade English language arts in Fort Worth, Texas, through Teach For America, going on serve as department chair. As an instructional coach at Circle City Prep in Indianapolis, Indiana, she led teachers to achieve a 20.6% increase in third-grade IREAD-3 pass rates, compared with a state average of 0.3%. She also worked as ELA manager of curriculum and instruction at Ethos Classical Charter School in Atlanta and helped found its middle school, which was named the 2026 Georgia Charter School of the Year. Garcia holds an M.A.T. in educational administration from Texas Wesleyan University and a B.A. in global health from DePauw University.
