Cecilia Burtis
Consultant and Senior Lead Opportunity Culture® Materials and Portal Specialist
Cecilia Burtis is a consultant and senior lead Opportunity Culture® materials and portal specialist with Public Impact®, focused primarily on assisting schools and districts with Opportunity Culture® design and implementation. She leads rollout and training for new features in the Opportunity Culture® portal, and leads a team to annually refine all consulting design materials based on research and data. Before joining Public Impact®, Burtis was a Fulbright Scholar, teaching English in La Gomera, Spain. She was also a second-grade teacher in Chicago Public Schools, first as a Teach For America corps member and later as a math lead on her school’s instructional leadership team. Burtis holds an M.A.T. in elementary education from the Relay Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. in sociology and Spanish from Miami University of Ohio.
