Mr. Brodie is an operations coordinator at Public Impact, providing administrative support to the team responsible for Opportunity Culture implementation in schools and districts nationwide. Before joining Public Impact, Dominique served as a college adviser with the Carolina College Advising Corps, supporting first-generation, low-income, and other underserved students in navigating the college admissions process. Mr. Brodie was also an instructor for Upward Bound, a college-prep nonprofit, and understands the challenges of students in Opportunity Culture schools based on his own experiences as a first-generation high school and college graduate. As an undergraduate at UNC-Chapel Hill, he held senior leadership positions in several student organizations, including the Office for Student Life & Leadership and the Black Student Movement, the university’s largest cultural organization. Mr. Brodie holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
