Public Impact is looking for a great writer to hire–join our growing team!

Work includes reaching broad and targeted audiences with strong writing and clear, understandable research, stories, analysis, and materials that support our mission. The writer will conduct qualitative research and draft reports, communication materials about Public Impact’s areas of work, grant proposals, and more in collaboration with consultants and other communications team members. The writer may also assist with media strategy work.

Work includes assisting communications leaders and writers with a wide range of tasks to reach broad and targeted audiences about Public Impact’s work aimed at producing positive, dramatic impacts on pre-K–12 student learning. The work involves contributing to Public Impact client projects in multiple ways, such as: conducting research; helping to advise state policymakers; producing field-leading written products in education policy and management; making client presentations; helping educators implement Opportunity Culture and school turnaround models; helping schools, foundations, and others design new programs and policies and organize stakeholders; and participating in and eventually leading project teams.
