Before joining Public Impact, Ms. Renaud spent three years as an elementary educator—two as a Teach For America corps member—at Ingenuity Prep in Washington, D.C. She served as the lead literacy teacher, creating a system of data-driven instruction that resulted in dramatic literacy academic growth. Ms. Renaud previously worked as a commercial banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Dallas, Texas. She holds an Ed.M. in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, an M.S. in elementary education from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
Why I Do This Work: “I love working with teachers, as well as school and district leaders, to think critically and creatively about how to ‘do school’ differently to dramatically improve outcomes for students, especially students who have been historically underserved by our public education system.”
