CASSIE LUTTERLOH is a senior consultant with Public Impact, focusing on assisting schools and districts in implementing an Opportunity Culture. In her Opportunity Culture work, she supports districts and schools to create teacher-leader roles that increase student access to excellent teachers and allow teachers to advance and earn more without leaving the classroom. Before joining Public Impact, she worked for the Eastern North Carolina region of Teach For America planning events for teachers, community partners, and alumni. She began her career in education as a fourth-grade teacher in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Lutterloh has worked in various communications roles for organizations working to increase academic opportunities for students, with a particular focus on low-income students and students of color. She holds a B.S. in journalism and a B.A. in art history from the University of Kansas, and a master’s degree in public policy from Duke University.
Example Projects: Ms. Lutterloh’s recent work includes leading Opportunity Culture design and implementation in Indianapolis Public Schools and districts supported by the Maricopa County Education Service Agency (MCESA) in Phoenix, AZ. She has done similar work with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
