CASSIE LUTTERLOH is a consulting and talent manager with Public Impact. In her Opportunity Culture work, she supports districts and schools to create teacher-leader roles that increase student access to excellent teachers and allow teachers to advance and earn more without leaving the classroom. She also supports Public Impact’s mission by managing the recruitment, selection, and development of all staff members. Before joining Public Impact, Ms. Lutterloh worked for the Eastern North Carolina region of Teach For America planning events for teachers, community partners, and alumni. She began her career in education as a fourth-grade teacher in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Lutterloh has worked in various communications roles for organizations working to increase academic opportunities for students, with a particular focus on low-income students and students of color. She holds a B.S. in journalism and a B.A. in art history from the University of Kansas, and a master’s degree in public policy from Duke University.
Example Projects: Ms. Lutterloh’s recent work includes leading Opportunity Culture design and implementation in Baltimore City Public Schools. She has done similar work with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Indianapolis Public Schools, and districts supported by the Office of the Maricopa County School Superintendent in the Phoenix, Arizona, area.
